The Salem Spartans lacrosse team scored 18 points and limited the visiting Blacksburg Bruins to 3 in the Spartans league triumph on Monday.

The Spartans (6-3) will now prepare for their game against Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA). The Cavaliers enter the non-league game with a 6-5 record. In their last game, Jefferson Forest toppled Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA), 14-6, in a non-league game.

The Bruins (1-8) will now prepare for their game against William Byrd (Vinton, VA). The Terriers enter the non-league game with a 3-6 record. In their last game, William Byrd was overwhelmed by Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA), 10-3, in a non-league game.
