The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Newport Harbor Sailors (Newport Beach, CA) and the visiting Capistrano Valley Cougars (Mission Viejo, CA), saw Newport Harbor's lacrosse team top Capistrano Valley by a margin of 16-3.

The Sailors (3-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Los Alamitos (Los Alamitos, CA). The Griffins enter the Sunset Surf challenge with a 8-7 record. In their last challenge, Los Alamitos beat El Modena (Orange, CA), 22-3, in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars (0-6) will now prepare for their challenge against San Juan Hills (San Juan Capistrano, CA). The Stallions enter the Sea View challenge with a 10-6 record. In their last challenge, San Juan Hills was overwhelmed by Aliso Niguel (Aliso Viejo, CA), 12-11, in a league challenge.
