The Redbirds now sport a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Belleville East for a Southwestern match on Tuesday, April 25. Alton will face a Lancers squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Jersey (Jerseyville, IL). The Lancers record now stands at 15-5.

With the loss, Cahokia moves to 0-8 on the season. The Comanches travel to Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IL) to face the Rams in a South Seven match on Tuesday, April 25. The Rams go into the match with a record of 6-8. Mt. Vernon lost 6-5 in their recent non-league match against Salem (Salem, IL)
