Juab Wasps (Nephi, UT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting American Fork Cavemen (American Fork, UT), 13-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Wasps now own a 5-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Summit for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 27. Juab will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 18-12 league loss to Morgan (Morgan, UT). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-10.

With the loss, American Fork falls to 6-11 on the campaign. The Cavemen host Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Grove, UT) to face the Vikings in a 6A Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, April 25. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 15-3. Pleasant Grove won 6-3 in their recent league challenge against Westlake (Saratoga Springs, UT)
