Connecticut High School Softball - Norwalk bounces Bridgeport Central

The Norwalk Bears routed the host Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers softball squad by a final score of 15-3 in Monday's league battle.

The Bears (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Westhill (Stamford, CT). The Vikings go into the Fairfield County battle with a 5-6 record. In their last battle, Westhill was routed by Staples (Westport, CT), 7-6, in a league battle.

The Hilltoppers now possess a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Darien for a Fairfield County battle on Wednesday, April 26. Bridgeport Central will meet a Blue Wave squad coming off a 6-2 league loss to McMahon (Norwalk, CT). The Blue Wave record now stands at 2-7.
