The Torrey Pines Falcons routed the host Canyon Crest Academy Ravens softball squad by a final score of 12-1 in Monday's non-league battle.
The Falcons (16-4) will now prepare for their battle against Rancho Buena Vista (Vista, CA). The Longhorns go into the Coastal North County battle with a 9-8 record.
The Ravens now possess a 5-12 record. They play next when they travel to San Dieguito Academy for a Avocado North County battle on Tuesday, April 25. Canyon Crest Academy will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 14-1 non-league win over Valley Center (Valley Center, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-10.

JUNIOR DP GEORGIA BILSKI (DARTMOUHTH) WENT 3-4 WITH 2 DOUBLES AND 2 RBI'S TO LEAD THE FALCON OFFENSE. FRESHMEN CATCHER MINA CROUCH WENT 2-3 WITH HER 5TH HOME RUN OF THE SEASON AND SHE SCORED 3 RUNS WHILE FRESHMEN RILEY CULLIVAN WENT 2-3 WITH A DOUBLE, 2 RUNS SCORED AND 2 RBI'S. JUNIOR AVA FAGIN WENT 2-3 WITH 2 RUNS SCORED WHILE SOPHOMORE KELLY WHELIHAN WENT 2-4 WITH A TRIPLE AND 3 RBI'S AS THE FALCONS IMPROVED TO 16-4 ON THE SEASON. JUNIOR KATHRYN McGINTY GOT THE WIN IN THE CIRCLE THROWING A COMPLETE GAME ( 5 INNING) 2 HITTER WITH 7 WALKS- 1 STRIKE OUT AND SHE ALLOWED NO EARNED RUNS IN THE GAME.
