The Dillon Wildcats (Dillon, SC) softball nipped the visiting Pee Dee Academy Eagles (Mullins, SC), 3-2 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Wildcats (13-6) will now prepare for their bout against Manning (Manning, SC). The Monarchs go into the AAA Region 7 bout with a 0-8 record. In their last bout, Manning was edged by Waccamaw (Pawley's Island, SC), 18-0, in a league bout.

The Eagles now possess a 13-3 record. They play next when they travel to Laurence Manning Academy for a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 25. Pee Dee Academy will confront a Swampcats squad coming off a 6-2 league win over Trinity Collegiate (Darlington, SC). The Swampcats record now stands at 15-4.
