West Florence Knights (Florence, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting East Clarendon Wolverines (Turbeville, SC), 8-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Knights now own a 12-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Myrtle Beach for a AAAA Region 6 challenge on Tuesday, April 25.

With the loss, East Clarendon falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Clarendon Hall (Summerton, SC) to battle the Saints in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 25. The Saints enter the challenge with a record of 9-4. Clarendon Hall won 18-0 in their recent league challenge against St. John's Christian Academy (Moncks Corner, SC)
