Elizabethton Fighting Cyclones (Elizabethton, TN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Science Hill Hilltoppers (Johnson City, TN), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Fighting Cyclones now own a 16-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Johnson County for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 25. Elizabethton will battle a Longhorns squad coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC). The Longhorns record now stands at 6-8.

With the loss, Science Hill falls to 2-13 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers travel to David Crockett (Jonesborough, TN) to battle the Pioneers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 25.
