Illinois High School Softball - Fulton bounces Polo

Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Fulton Steamers (Fulton, IL) and the visiting Polo Marcos (Polo, IL), witnessed Fulton's softball squad prevail over Polo by a count of 13-3.

The Steamers now sport a 11-5 record. They play next when they host Warren/Stockton for a NUIC West match on Tuesday, April 25. Fulton will face a Warhawks squad coming off a 20-8 league loss to East Dubuque (East Dubuque, IL). The Warhawks record now stands at 11-2.

With the loss, Polo moves to 5-10 on the season. The Marcos travel to Ashton-Franklin Center (Ashton, IL) to face the Raiders in a NUIC South match on Tuesday, April 25.
