In Monday's non-league contest, the Lapel Bulldogs (Lapel, IN) softball team overwhelmed the host Hagerstown Tigers (Hagerstown, IN), by a margin of 19-14.

With the triumph, Lapel moves its record to 8-4 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Mt. Vernon (Fortville, IN) to play the Marauders in a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 25. The Marauders come into the contest with a record of 6-7. Mt. Vernon won 17-2 in their recent league contest against Delta (Muncie, IN)

In their next game, the Tigers play the Centerville Bulldogs (Centerville, IN) in a Tri-Eastern contest, on Wednesday, April 26. Hagerstown will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 3-4 record after their 7-6 non-league loss to Northeastern (Fountain City, IN).
