In Monday's non-league outing, the host Hiawatha Red Hawks softball team scored a close 10-6 win over the Nemaha Central Thunder.
Coming up next, the Red Hawks encounter the Perry-Lecompton Kaws (Perry, KS) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, April 27. Hiawatha will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Kaws enter the outing with a 7-7 record after their 15-5 league loss to Royal Valley (Hoyt, KS).
