St. Charles Fighting Saints (St. Charles, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Kasson-Mantorville Komets (Kasson, MN), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Fighting Saints now own a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they host Fillmore Central/Lanesboro for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 27. St. Charles will battle a Falcons squad coming off a 20-4 non-league loss to Mabel-Canton (Mabel, MN). The Falcons record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Kasson-Mantorville falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Komets host Zumbrota-Mazeppa (Zumbrota, MN) to battle the Cougars in a Hiawatha Valley challenge on Thursday, April 27. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 1-1.
