Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the King George Foxes (King George, VA) and the host Leonardtown Raiders (Leonardtown, MD), witnessed King George's softball squad tip Leonardtown by a count of 6-5.

The Foxes now sport a 11-2 record. They play next when they host James Monroe for a Battlefield match on Tuesday, April 25. King George will face a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 13-3 league loss to Chancellor (Fredericksburg, VA). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 0-9.

With the loss, Leonardtown moves to 8-7 on the season. The Raiders travel to Westlake (Waldorf, MD) to face the Wolverines in a Southern Maryland match on Wednesday, April 26.
