The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the McCracken County Mustangs (Paducah, KY) and the visiting Marion Wildcats (Marion, IL), saw McCracken County's softball squad achieve victory over Marion by a count of 17-3.

The Mustangs now sport a 19-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Massac County for a non-league match on Tuesday, April 25. McCracken County will face a Patriots squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Frankfort (West Frankfort, IL). The Patriots record now stands at 8-9.

With the loss, Marion falls to 15-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Centralia (Centralia, IL) to face the Orphans in a South Seven match on Tuesday, April 25. The Orphans enter the match with a record of 6-9. Centralia lost 11-4 in their recent non-league match against Mater Dei (Breese, IL)
