Milan Indians (Milan, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Trimble County Raiders (Bedford, KY), 9-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians now own a 12-6 record. They take the field next when they host North Decatur for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 25. Milan will battle a Chargers squad coming off a 22-5 league loss to Edinburgh (Edinburgh, IN). The Chargers record now stands at 4-8.

With the loss, Trimble County falls to 10-8 on the campaign. The Raiders host Eminence (Eminence, KY) to battle the Warriors in a District 31 challenge on Tuesday, April 25. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 4-9. Eminence won 7-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Walton-Verona (Walton, KY)
