Penn Kingsmen (Mishawaka, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host South Bend Adams Eagles (South Bend, IN), 10-3 in a league challenge.

The Kingsmen now sport a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they host Concord for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 25.

With the loss, South Bend Adams falls to 5-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host New Prairie (New Carlisle, IN) to face the Cougars in a Northern Indiana challenge on Tuesday, April 25. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 11-1. New Prairie won 10-1 in their recent league challenge against Mishawaka Marian (Mishawaka, IN)
