North Carolina High School Softball - Queen's Grant bounces SouthLake Christian Academy

April 24, 2023: Matthews, NC 28105

Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC) and the visiting SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC), witnessed Queen's Grant's softball squad prevail over SouthLake Christian Academy by a count of 16-6.

The Stallions now sport a 15-3 record. They play next when they travel to Sugar Creek for a Metro Eight 1A match on Wednesday, April 26. Queen's Grant will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 29-10 league loss to Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-7.

With the loss, SouthLake Christian Academy moves to 3-7 on the season. The host Concord Academy (Concord, NC) to face the Eagles in a NICSAA Metrolina match on Thursday, April 27. The Eagles go into the match with a record of 7-6. Concord Academy won 14-2 in their recent league match against Gaston Christian (Gastonia, NC)
