In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Marlboro County Bulldogs baseball team scored a tight 7-3 victory over the Anson Bearcats.
The Bulldogs (8-4) will now prepare for their game against Brookland-Cayce (Cayce, SC). The Bearcats go into the non-league game with a 9-14 record. In their last game, Brookland-Cayce tipped Aiken (Aiken, SC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
The Bearcats (6-12) will now prepare for their game against Central (Pageland, SC). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 2-12 record. In their last game, Central was overwhelmed by Central Academy (Monroe, NC), 12-10, in a non-league game.
