In Wednesday's non-league game, the host North Port Bobcats baseball team scored a tight 8-3 victory over the Booker Tornadoes.
The Bobcats (11-14) will now prepare for their game against Sarasota (Sarasota, FL). The Sailors go into the non-league game with a 9-16 record. In their last game, Sarasota was overwhelmed by Riverview Sarasota (Sarasota, FL), 3-1, in a non-league game.
The Tornadoes (2-14) will now prepare for their game against Boca Ciega (Gulfport, FL). The Pirates go into the non-league game with a 6-19 record. In their last game, Boca Ciega tipped IMG Academy Blue (Bradenton, FL), 10-7, in a non-league game.
