The Johannesburg-Lewiston Cardinals baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Ellsworth Lancers to 1 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Cardinals (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Mancelona (Mancelona, MI). The Ironmen go into the Ski-Valley match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Mancelona was overwhelmed by Marion (Marion, MI), 4-3, in a non-league match.

The Lancers (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Forest Area (Fife Lake, MI). The Warriors go into the non-league match with a 1-6 record. In their last match, Forest Area was overwhelmed by Inland Lakes (Indian River, MI), 14-1, in a league match.
