In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Fulton Steamers baseball team scored a tight 8-5 victory over the Kewanee Boilermakers.
The Steamers (8-8) will now prepare for their game against East Dubuque (East Dubuque, IL). The Warriors go into the Northwest Upstate Illini - West game with a 13-5 record. In their last game, East Dubuque tipped Fulton (Fulton, IL), 10-9, in a league game.
The Boilermakers (5-12) will now prepare for their game against Macomb (Macomb, IL). The Bombers go into the non-league game with a 7-12 record. In their last game, Macomb by Illini West (Carthage, IL), 7-6, in a league game.
