The Oakwood Comets baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Paris Tigers to 10 in the Comets non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Comets (10-13) will now prepare for their match against Cissna Park (Cissna Park, IL). The Timberwolves go into the Vermilion Valley match with a 1-11 record. In their last match, Cissna Park by Salt Fork (Sidell, IL), 20-5, in a league match.

The Tigers (10-11) will now prepare for their match against Lawrenceville (Lawrenceville, IL). The Indians go into the Little Illini match with a 10-9 record. In their last match, Lawrenceville edged North Central (Farmersburg, IN), 9-0, in a non-league match.
