In Wednesday's non-league battle, the host Maine South Hawks volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Niles Notre Dame Dons.
The Hawks (11-8) will now prepare for their battle against Glenbrook North (Northbrook, IL). The Spartans come into the Central Suburban South battle with a 9-7 record. In their last battle, Glenbrook North lost by Lake Zurich (Lake Zurich, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Dons clash with the Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers (Joliet, IL) in a East Suburban Catholic battle, on Tuesday, April 30. Niles Notre Dame will attempt to advance on its 14-9 season record.
