Powhatan Indians (Powhatan, VA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the visiting Patrick Henry Patriots (Ashland, VA), 11-9 in a non-league battle.
The Indians now have a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Godwin for a non-league battle on Monday, April 29. Powhatan will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 7-7 non-league Freeman (Richmond, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-0.
In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Deep Run Wildcats (Glen Allen, VA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 29. Patrick Henry will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record.
