In Wednesday's non-league test, the visiting Sewanhaka Indians lacrosse squad scored a tight 6-4 victory over the Hempstead Tigers.
The Indians now have a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host West Hempstead for a non-league test on Monday, April 29. Sewanhaka will face a Rams squad coming off a 20-3 non-league loss to North Shore (Glen Head, NY). The Rams record now stands at 1-5.
In their next game, the Tigers face the Oceanside Sailors (Oceanside, NY) in a Section 8 A test, on Thursday, April 25. Hempstead will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Sailors come into the test with a 7-3 record after their 12-2 league win over Freeport (Freeport, NY).
