In Wednesday's non-league outing, the visiting Athens Warriors softball team scored a close 3-2 win over the Midwest Central Raiders.
Coming up next, the Warriors battle the Jacksonville Crimsons (Jacksonville, IL) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, April 25. Athens will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Crimsons enter the outing with a 7-11 record after their 21-6 league win over MacArthur (Decatur, IL).
The Raiders (1-6) will now prepare for their outing against Illini Bluffs (Glasford, IL). The Tigers enter the Inter County outing with a 14-0 record. In their last outing, Illini Bluffs tipped Peoria Heights (Peoria Heights, IL), 16-1, in a league outing.
