The East Prairie Eagles softball team scored 25 runs and limited the visiting Charleston Bluejays to 10 in the Eagles league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, East Prairie improves its record to 10-12 on the year. The Eagles host Caruthersville (Caruthersville, MO) to clash with the Tigers in a Class 2 District 1 game on Thursday, April 25. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 8-15. Caruthersville lost 13-3 in their recent league game against Portageville (Portageville, MO)

In their next game, the Bluejays clash with the Scott City Rams (Scott City, MO) in a non-league game, on Thursday, April 25. Charleston will attempt to improve on its 1-14 season record. The Rams come into the game with a 16-5 record after their 12-7 league win over Central (Park Hills, MO).
