The Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host DuBois Beavers to 2 in the Mountaineers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Philipsburg-Osceola moves its record to 6-4 on the year. The Mountaineers host Westmont Hilltop (Johnstown, PA) to play the Hilltoppers in a non-league game on Thursday, April 25. The Hilltoppers come into the game with a record of 3-5. Westmont Hilltop lost 8-3 in their recent league game against Richland (Johnstown, PA)

In their next game, the Beavers play the Central Mountain Wildcats (Mill Hall, PA) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 26. DuBois will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 8-2 record after their 4-3 league loss to Shikellamy (Sunbury, PA).
