With the triumph, Falls Lake improves its record to 9-7 on the year. The Firebirds travel to NCSSM: Durham (Durham, NC) to clash with the Unicorns in a Super Six 1A/2A game on Thursday, April 25. The Unicorns come into the game with a record of 0-9. NCSSM: Durham lost 7-0 in their recent league game against Franklin Academy (Wake Forest, NC)

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the J.F. Webb Warriors (Oxford, NC) in a Northern Lakes Athletic 2A/3A game, on Friday, April 26. Granville Central will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The Warriors come into the game with a 6-9 record after their 14-0 league win over Granville Central (Stem, NC).
