The Gray's Creek Bears softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Pine Forest Trojans to 0 in the Bears non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Gray's Creek improves its record to 9-7 on the year. The Bears travel to Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC) to clash with the Colts in a United Eight 3A/4A game on Friday, April 26. The Colts come into the game with a record of 13-4. Cape Fear lost 5-2 in their recent league game against South View (Hope Mills, NC)

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Overhills Jaguars (Spring Lake, NC) in a All American 3A/4A game, on Thursday, April 25. Pine Forest will attempt to improve on its 7-10 season record. The Jaguars come into the game with a 6-8 record after their 17-16 league win over Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC).
