Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Pekin Dragons (Pekin, IL) and the host Lincoln Railsplitters (Lincoln, IL), witnessed Pekin's softball squad tip Lincoln by a count of 7-6.

The Dragons now sport a 10-7 record. They play next when they travel to Dunlap for a Mid-Illini match on Thursday, April 25. Pekin will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Limestone (Bartonville, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 12-5.

With the loss, Lincoln moves to 6-16 on the season. The Railsplitters host Lanphier (Springfield, IL) to meet the Lions in a Central State Eight match on Thursday, April 25. The Lions go into the match with a record of 1-14. Lanphier lost 18-0 in their recent league match against Glenwood (Chatham, IL)
