The South Lake Eagles (Groveland, FL) softball routed the visiting Poinciana Eagles (Kissimmee, FL), 10-0 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Eagles (16-7) will now prepare for their bout against Viera (Viera, FL). The Hawks go into the non-league bout with a 16-7 record. In their last bout, Viera was routed by Oviedo (Oviedo, FL), 8-6, in a non-league bout.
The Eagles now own a 12-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ridge Community for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 25. Poinciana will face a Bolts squad coming off a 23-7 league win over Haines City (Haines City, FL). The Bolts record now stands at 5-11.
