The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Muskogee Roughers (Muskogee, OK) and the host Checotah Wildcats (Checotah, OK), saw Muskogee's baseball team knock off Checotah by a count of 9-6.

The Roughers now own a 11-19 record. They take the field next when they travel to Collinsville for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 25. Muskogee will clash with a Cardinals team coming off a 10-2 non-league win over Coweta (Coweta, OK). The Cardinals record now stands at 23-5.

With the defeat, Checotah drops to 12-17 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Poteau (Poteau, OK) to clash with the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 29. The Pirates go into the challenge with a record of 10-12.
