In Thursday's non-league bout, the Fieldcrest Knights (Minonk, IL) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Henry-Senachwine Mallards (Henry, IL), by a tally of 13-6.

Next up, the Knights encounter the Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Falcons (Gibson City, IL) in a Heart of Illinois bout, on Friday, April 25. Fieldcrest will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Falcons enter the bout with a 8-7 record after their 14-0 league loss to Tremont (Tremont, IL).

The Mallards (3-12) will now prepare for their bout against St. Bede (Peru, IL). The Bruins enter the Tri-County test with a 15-4 record.
