The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Galena Bulldogs (Galena, KS) and the host Southeast Lancers (Cherokee, KS), saw Galena's baseball team get by Southeast by a tally of 4-3.

The Bulldogs (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Riverton (Riverton, KS). The Rams go into the Crawford-Neosho-Cherokee challenge with a 4-7 record. In their last challenge, Riverton was nipped by Quapaw (Quapaw, OK), 6-1, in a non-league challenge.

With the defeat, Southeast drops to 11-8 on the year. The Lancers travel to Yates Center (Yates Center, KS) to clash with the Wildcats in a Three Rivers challenge on Tuesday, April 29. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a record of 2-12.
