In Thursday's non-league bout, the Gardner Wildcats (Gardner, MA) baseball squad the visiting St. Bernard's Central Catholic Bernardians (Fitchburg, MA), by a tally of 7-3.
Next up, the Wildcats encounter the Murdock Blue Devils (Winchendon, MA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 28. Gardner will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Blue Devils enter the bout with a 0-7 record after their 9-0 non-league loss to Tahanto Regional (Boylston, MA).
The Bernardians (3-5) will now prepare for their bout against North (Worcester, MA). The Polar Bears enter the non-league bout with a 0-8 record. In their last bout, North was overwhelmed by Montachusett RVT (Fitchburg, MA), 11-1, in a non-league bout.
