Virginia High School Baseball - Great Bridge loses to Western Branch

The Western Branch Bruins triumphed over the host Great Bridge Wildcats baseball squad by a score of 9-2 in Thursday's league outing.

Next up, the Bruins battle the Indian River Braves (Chesapeake, VA) in a Southeastern outing, on Tuesday, April 29. Western Branch will attempt to advance on its 8-3 season record. The Braves come into the outing with a 5-8 record after their 7-4 league win over Lakeland (Suffolk, VA).

The Wildcats (8-5) will now prepare for their outing against Hickory (Chesapeake, VA). The Hawks come into the Southeastern outing with a 8-4 record. In their last outing, Hickory tipped King's Fork (Suffolk, VA), 22-4, in a league outing.
