The Maple Hill Wildcats (Castleton on Hudson, NY) baseball got by the host Greenwich Witches (Greenwich, NY), 9-8 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Greenville for a Section 2 Patroon test on Monday, April 28.

With the defeat, Greenwich drops to 6-4 on the year. The Witches travel to Mechanicville (Mechanicville, NY) to play the Red Raiders in a Section 2 Wasaren test on Sunday, April 27. The Red Raiders go into the test with a record of 6-2. Mechanicville won 12-0 in their recent league test against Waterford-Halfmoon (Waterford, NY)
