Indiana High School Baseball - Woodlan nipped by Jay County

Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad nip the host Woodlan Warriors (Woodburn, IN), 6-5 in a league match.

With the triumph, Jay County advances its record to 3-6 on the season. The Patriots host Shenandoah (Middletown, IN) to battle the Raiders in a non-league match on Friday, April 25. The Raiders come into the match with a record of 7-2. Shenandoah won 3-2 in their recent league match against Wapahani (Selma, IN)

The Warriors now have a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakeland for a non-league match on Saturday, April 26. Woodlan will battle a Lakers squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Fairfield (Goshen, IN). The Lakers record now stands at 7-2.
