In Thursday's non-league bout, the Newburyport Clippers (Newburyport, MA) baseball squad edged the host Lynn English Bulldogs (Lynn, MA), by a tally of 3-2.

Next up, the Clippers encounter the Manchester Essex Hornets (Manchester, MA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 29. Newburyport will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record.

The Bulldogs (3-4) will now prepare for their bout against Medford (Medford, MA). The Mustangs enter the Greater Boston bout with a 4-4 record. In their last bout, Medford edged Everett (Everett, MA), 14-0, in a league bout.
