The Mahomet-Seymour Bulldogs triumphed over the host St. Thomas More Sabers baseball squad by a score of 27-4 in Thursday's non-league outing.
Next up, the Bulldogs battle the Taylorville Tornadoes (Taylorville, IL) in a Apollo outing, on Friday, April 25. Mahomet-Seymour will attempt to advance on its 11-4 season record.
The Sabers (6-14) will now prepare for their outing against Olympia (Stanford, IL). The Spartans come into the non-league outing with a 9-11 record. In their last outing, Olympia was overwhelmed by Beardstown (Beardstown, IL), 11-8, in a non-league outing.
