The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Northwest Mohawks (McDermott, OH) and the host South Webster Jeeps (South Webster, OH), saw Northwest's baseball team gain a win over South Webster by a tally of 4-2.
The Mohawks (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against Western (Latham, OH). The Indians enter the Southern Ohio II battle with a 0-6 record. In their last battle, Western by Symmes Valley (Willow Wood, OH), 13-2, in a league battle.
Next, the Jeeps face the Minford Falcons (Minford, OH) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 28. South Webster will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Falcons enter the battle with a 7-4 record after their 14-11 non-league win over Southeastern (Chillicothe, OH).
