The St. Francis Spartans triumphed over the visiting Elk Grove Grenadiers lacrosse team by a tally of 19-1 in Thursday's non-league match.
Next up, the Spartans confront the St. Laurence Vikings (Burbank, IL) in a match, on Saturday, April 26. St. Francis will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record.
The Grenadiers (0-9) will now prepare for their match against Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL). The Cougars come into the Mid Suburban match with a 8-5 record. In their last match, Conant notched a victory over Mother McAuley (Chicago, IL), 6-4, in a non-league match.
