The Peotone Blue Devils (Peotone, IL) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL), 6-1 in Thursday's league challenge.
The Blue Devils now hold a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Beecher for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 29. Peotone will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Kankakee (Kankakee, IL). The Bobcats record now stands at 8-8.
With the loss, Reed-Custer moves to 7-4 on the year. The Comets travel to Coal City (Coal City, IL) to encounter the Coalers in a Illinois Central Eight challenge on Thursday, May 1. The Coalers go into the challenge with a record of 9-4. Coal City lost 2-1 in their recent league challenge against Herscher (Herscher, IL)
