McDonogh Eagles (Owings Mills, MD) backers exited the stadium satisfied Thursday as they saw their lacrosse team nip the host Mount St. Joseph Gaels (Baltimore, MD), 9-8 in a league game.

With the victory, McDonogh improves its record to 1-0 on the season.

The Gaels now have a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Severn School for a game on Monday, April 28.
