The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Saints overwhelmed the visiting Brunswick Academy Vikings softball squad by a count of 14-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Saints meet the Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 25. Nansemond-Suffolk Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Knights go into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 13-3 non-league win over Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA).
The Vikings (3-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Amelia Academy (Amelia Court House, VA). The Patriots go into the challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Amelia Academy was routed by The Carmel School (Ruther Glen, VA), 17-1, in a league challenge.
