In Thursday's non-league test, the Hickory Hawks (Chesapeake, VA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting King's Fork Bulldogs (Suffolk, VA), by a tally of 23-0.

Next, the Hawks clash with the Southampton Indians (Courtland, VA) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, April 30. Hickory will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Indians go into the test with a 2-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Manor (Portsmouth, VA).

The Bulldogs (1-6) will now prepare for their test against Windsor (Windsor, VA). The Dukes go into the non-league test with a 1-3 record.
