In Thursday's non-league match, the Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) lacrosse team the host Chapel Hill Tigers (Chapel Hill, NC), by a tally of 9-7.

Next up, the Pirates confront the New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC) in a Mideastern match, on Tuesday, April 29. Topsail will attempt to improve on its 11-4 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 5-12 record after their 19-3 league loss to Laney (Wilmington, NC).
