Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Lewis Lancers (Springfield, VA) and the visiting Annandale Atoms (Annandale, VA), saw Lewis's soccer squad hold off Annandale by a score of 4-3.

The Lancers (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology (Alexandria, VA). The Colonials enter the National battle with a 1-7 record. In their last battle, Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology was edged by Justice (Falls Church, VA), 4-2, in a league battle.

Next up, the Atoms confront the Edison Eagles (Alexandria, VA) in a National battle, on Tuesday, April 29. Annandale will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 1-8 record after their 4-1 league win over Mount Vernon (Alexandria, VA).
